She did art projects all morning. Then she opened her gifts and cards. I broke down and sent cupcakes to school with her, even though I usually complain when other mothers do it because of all the sugar. But Adeline really wanted cupcakes and since it was her birthday, I gave in. She decorated her cake with blueberries and strawberries to make a face. She had Girl Scouts and then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Just before they brought her cake, all the waiters did a line dance - and we convinced Adeline it was for her. She thought it was so fun. I think her favorite part was throwing peanut shells on the floor at a restaurant. Only in America. She said, "This is the best birthday ever!" Aah, warm my heart. Happy Birthday Adeline! Oh - and I just found out today that she got into Christine Donnell School of the Arts which is an art magnet school out here and VERY hard to get in to! I am thrilled! It is so PERFECT for her!
