IT'S A PARTY!

Adeline and Lora had a joint birthday party on Saturday! They were so excited. We had lunch with all their friends, played in the backyard and then sang the birthday song! Adeline thought the fire from the candles would hurt her eyes, so she kept them covered, except for a small space where she could stick out her mouth and blow them out. Then all the kids got to decorate cupcakes!

And here is the crowd decorating cupcakes. Sprinkles were sure a big hit! Some of them didn't even frost the cupcakes, they just piled on sprinkles!

The trampoline was a major hit! Keith got it in the ground the night before (after six months and one shovel of dirt at a time). It is not totally done, thus the piles of dirt around it, but at least it was safe enough that I didn't have to worry about a lawsuit from kids jumping in my backyard!

I love having a park in my backyard. The kids totally entertained themselves! Swings, slide, trampoline - maybe I should charge people to have parties here! JK. I only like my own kids.

Here are Adeline, Lora and their friend Alexis smooshed on the kiddie swing. It's a miracle it didn't break! BIRTHDAY BINGO! Here they are getting ready for a game of birthday bingo. They had a blast!

PRESENTS! Adeline is holding her craft project present. Her favorite was her Barbie Mariposa - how did they know? She had been asking for that for over a month!

Lora is holding her newest Littlest Pet Shop - birthday edition. Her favorite was a new pair of sandals. My shoe fanatic - she wouldn't let go of them until I put them on her.
