HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORA!

Yes, she is now 4! And she says when she wakes up, "Mommy, now I'm almost 5!" The grass is always greener on the other side.
I took her to Build -a - Bear, just the two of us. We put together all the money people had sent her and let her go crazy. She got very spoiled. Her bear's name is Kelly and has her own clothes, hat, shoes, bed, purse and even panties. This store is a little overboard. But Lora had a blast.
Then we went to Fred Meyer to get birthday cake supplies. And of course, we had to stop at the Clifford ride in the store.
After making her cake, we went to Red Robin for dinner. She wanted to go there because they give you balloons and sing to you there. Well, as they are coming around the corner to sing and she realizes it is for her, she totally freezes. She stares and me, turns away from them, and would not look at them the whole time! She wouldn't move! The waiter even tried to say "Happy birthday" but she wouldn't even acknowledge his presence. So we said, "Lora, why didn't you say thank you?" She replies, "they were too loud." Oh, my. That is our redhead.
So we had cake and ice cream with Aunt Nicole and "Uncle" Duke. Then she got to play Candyland (a gift from a friend). How fun. We are having a joint birthday party for Adeline and Lora on Saturday. JOY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORA!

Happy Birthday Lola-Lou!

We took Em to Build a Bear on her birthday (we'd never been before) and it was a big hit. I couldn't believe that store -- it was dreamy. I almost wanted a bear myself! Almost.
